Indian poet and lyricist Javed Akhtar honoured with 2017 Hridaynath Mangeshkar Award.
The award was established in 2011 by Mumbai-based socio-cultural organisation Hridayesh Art in honour of music composer and singer Hridaynath Mangeskar

Mr. Akhtar received the honour in Mumbai on Thursday night at an event marking the 28th anniversary of Hridayesh Arts and the 80th birthday of veteran music composer Hridaynath Mangeshkar.
