Prabha Varma selected for Vallathol literary Prize 2017.
Prabha Varma is an Indian poet, lyricist, journalist and television presenter.


The award was instituted in 1991.The prize includes a cash prize of ₹ 1,11,111 and a plaque.

Prabha Varma  had won Kendra Sahitya Akademi Award for Shyama Madhavam (2016) , Vayalar Award for Shyama Madhavam (2013), Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for Arkkapoornima (1995) and many other prestigious literary awards.
