BJP president Amit Shah on Tuesday unveiled the world’s largest wooden Charkha, at Terminal 3 of Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA)
The four-tonne charkha is made of high-quality Burma teak wood and is estimated to last for over 50 years. It is 9 feet wide, 17 feet tall and 30 feet long. It was made by 42 carpenters in 55 days.
