Eminent Malayalam novelist, C Radhakrishnan, selected for Ezhuthachan Award 2016.The award is given to him for his overall contributions to the Malayalam literary field.
The Ezhuthachan Puraskaram is the highest literary honour that is given by the Kerala Sahitya Akademi, Government of Kerala. The award is named after Ezhuthachan, the father of the Malayalam language and consists of a cash prize of ₹1,50,000 and a citation.
He also won 2016 Mathrubhumi Literature Prize.
