Dilip Asbe has been appointed as new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of National Payments Corporation of India.
He has played a pivotal role in designing, building, operationalisation and management of large scale payment processing platforms like Unified Payments Interface (UPI), Bharat Interface for Money (BHIM), Immediate Payment Service (IMPS) and India’s home grown card network RuPay.
National Payments Corporation of India is the umbrella organisation for all retail payment systems in India, which aims to allow all Indian citizens to have unrestricted access to e-payment services.
